NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation)

NERC is a not-for-profit international regulatory authority, certified by FERC as the Electric Reliability Organization under the Federal Power Act, responsible for developing and enforcing mandatory reliability standards for the bulk power system across North America. This is the organization behind both the NERC CIP security standards and the broader NERC Reliability Standards.
